Alexandra Ford was born outside of Philadelphia in 1986. She earned an MFA in writing from Sarah Lawrence College and a BA from Virginia Tech. Her work appears in The Rumpus, Pigeon Pages, Blunderbuss Magazine, and No Tokens Journal, among others. Alexandra has worked as a castle tour guide, a wine educator, and the editor of a series of Shakespeare scenes for finger puppets.

​She lives in the Welsh Marches with her husband, dog, and flock of sheep. She works at the John Osborne Arvon Centre and is currently writing a memoir. Her first novel, WHAT REMAINS AT THE END, was published in 2019 in the UK with Wales' leading independent press, Seren Books.
