Alexandra Ford was born outside of Philadelphia in 1986. She earned an MFA in writing from Sarah Lawrence College and a BA from Virginia Tech. Her work appears in The Rumpus, Pigeon Pages, Blunderbuss Magazine, and No Tokens Journal, among others. Alexandra has worked as a castle tour guide, a wine educator, and the editor of a series of Shakespeare scenes for finger puppets.
She currently lives in the Welsh Marches with her husband, dog, and flock of sheep. She works at the John Osborne Arvon Centre and is writing her second novel. Her first novel, WHAT REMAINS AT THE END, was published this Autumn in the UK with Wales' leading independent press, Seren Books. Alexandra is also planning to turn her (still growing) small farm into a writing retreat.
